Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Prime Springfield Spray Foam Insulation website and any work you hire us to do. When you use the site, call us or book a job, you agree to them, so if you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
Prime Springfield Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation contractor in Springfield, IL. In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" mean the business and our crew, and "you" means the person using the site or hiring us.
What we do
We insulate and air seal homes and commercial buildings. That includes attic, wall, crawl space and basement insulation, spray foam, blown-in insulation, insulation removal and vapor barriers. The home page lists every service, and our About page explains who we are.
The website describes our work in general terms. The exact scope of your job is what's written on your estimate or work agreement, and if that document differs from anything on the site, the document controls.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free, and there's no pressure to book. We price each job after we see the house, because the price depends on things like the size of the space, how much insulation is already up there, which material you choose and whether old material has to come out first.
An estimate is our best figure for the work it describes. Some conditions only show up once the job is open, like soaked or dirty insulation, damaged framing or wiring that needs attention. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, explain it and get your okay before we go on. An estimate's prices hold for the period stated on it.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We schedule your job once you accept the estimate. Dates can move because of weather, material supply or an earlier job that runs long, and when that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and set a new date with you.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to tell us about anything we should know before we start, such as pets, known leaks or past pest problems.
Some materials, spray foam in particular, mean the house or part of it has to be cleared while we work and for a while after. Before the job, we'll tell you when you, your kids and your pets need to be out and when it's safe to come back in, and you agree to follow those instructions.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (217) 210-0709 as early as you can. Any cancellation terms for your job, including a charge for materials already ordered for it, will be written on your estimate or agreement.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written on your estimate or invoice. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is done.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled. Where Illinois law allows, you're also responsible for the reasonable costs we pay to collect what's owed.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied, tell us and we'll come back and make it right. Any written warranty for your job, whether it comes from us or from a material maker, is spelled out in your paperwork, and those terms control.
Beyond that, our work and this website come without other promises. We can't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room, because that also depends on your heating and cooling system, your windows and how the house is used. We're also not responsible for problems caused by later damage, changes others make after we leave, or hidden conditions that weren't part of the job.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and insured, and we're responsible for damage our crew causes while working at your house. Outside of that, and as far as Illinois law allows, Prime Springfield Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect losses such as lost income, and our total liability for a job won't be more than what you paid us for it.
Information on this website is general. It can't replace an on-site look at your house, so we're not liable for decisions made from the site alone.
Settling a disagreement and the law that applies
If something goes wrong, call us first, because most problems get fixed faster with a conversation and a visit than with anything formal. If we can't work it out together, either of us can take the matter to a court in Illinois that has authority to hear it.
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one that applies when you use the site or book work. A change won't alter an estimate or agreement you've already signed.
Questions about these terms
If you have a question about any of this, call us at (217) 210-0709 or use our contact page. We answer Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 11 PM and on weekends from 6 AM to 10 PM, and we reply within 1 business day.
