Straight talk about what's up there
If we find old vermiculite, that pebbly fill in some older attics, or a problem like a leak, we say so plainly before we start, instead of covering it up.
We're a Springfield, IL insulation crew that seals and insulates attics, crawl spaces, walls and basements, and we look hard at the space before we price anything.

I spent years doing upkeep for a property management company, which meant a lot of time in attics and crawl spaces nobody else wanted to crawl into. I kept fixing the same cold rooms and damp crawl spaces, and after enough of them I knew how they should've been done in the first place. Usually whoever built the attic was in a hurry. So in 2017 I started this business here in Springfield.
What I care about most is doing the work in the right order. A roof leak or a wet crawl space gets fixed first, the gaps get sealed next, and the insulation goes in last. If your space isn't ready, I'd rather tell you to wait than sell you a job that won't hold up. Springfield has older homes on big lots and newer subdivisions, and we get calls from both, plus landlords and property managers who knew me from the old job. We're licensed and insured, and you'll find the rest of what we do on our home page.

Our crew does air sealing first, closing gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch, then insulates. Otherwise new insulation just fights a draft and you're paying to heat the attic.
Years of upkeep on rental buildings taught us to work around tenants, kids and pets and to leave the place clean, so you're not vacuuming insulation off the stairs after we go.
Here's what happens from the first call or form to the day our crew packs up.

I come out for every estimate myself and check what's already up there and what shape it's in before we price anything. It's free, with no pressure to book.
We check with the office that covers your address about permits and take care of one if it's needed. Our crew installs, and I'm on most jobs or checking before we pack up.
We're based in Springfield and work across central Illinois, including the cities listed here and the ones around them. If yours isn't on the list, call and ask.
